Hawthorn House offers the finest in assisted living and memory support.

Assisted living gives you the freedom to live your life without the worries of daily living such as maintaining a house, cooking meals, or managing medication. Hawthorn House residents feel empowered with life because they connect with others who share a military background, participate in daily social activities, and use our transportation services for shopping, entertainment, and appointments.

We are committed to providing the highest quality of life to our residents. Hawthorn House residents’ needs are safely and professionally met by our loving and supportive staff in a beautiful facility with the comfort of home. We encourage independence first, but our staff is always available for assistance.

The Mom Rule

In 2000, former President and CEO, CMSAF #9 James C. Binnicker, instituted a philosophy known as “The Mom Rule” to ensure that all residents are treated with respect and dignity. “The Mom Rule” guides all Air Force Enlisted Village employees to ask themselves these three questions when working with residents or making decisions about a resident’s care.

  1. Would I do this to my mom?

  2. Would I do this for my mom?

  3. Would my mom approve?

The success of our commitment is in our Mom Rule
